Juliska Ceramic Stoneware
Juliska's ceramic dinnerware, serveware and bakeware are all made of extremely durable Portuguese stoneware. The designs are rich with texture and historic European themes. Exquisite transparent glazes are applied to tough stoneware ceramics, which are then vitrified, meaning that the clay and glaze are fired so high (2200° F) they are fused together. All of Juliska's stoneware is safe in the oven (up to 500° F), microwave, freezer and dishwasher, and it is all highly resistant to chipping. Juliska ceramic stoneware is made in Portugal.
As a testament to its elegance and durability, the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City was so impressed by Juliska's design and durability that they now use Juliska's products in all of their restaurants.
Juliska "Berry and Thread" Pattern
Juliska's popular "Berry and Thread" dinnerware artfully layers scallop and round shapes in five colors. Mix and match the colors to complement your decor or use one single color. Inspired by centuries old historical glassware found in European museums, the "Berry and Thread" pattern is reinterpreted for today's modern homes. Like all Juliska stoneware, "Berry and Thread" is made of chip-resistant stoneware that is guaranteed to be microwave, dishwasher and freezer-to-oven safe up to 500°F.
Juliska "Jardins du Monde"
Juliska's Jardins du Monde - Gardens of the World - collection was inspired by some of the most beautiful gardens in the world: Villandry in France, Alcazar in Spain, Heligan in England and Landriana in Italy. Jardins du Monde is highly designed and decorated to complement the Berry and Thread pattern. Juliska's Jardins du Monde collection includes beautiful large pieces such as wall medallions, urns and topiaries, as well as exquisitely decorated dessert plates. As with all Juliska, it is highly durable and chip resistant, microwave, freezer, oven and dishwasher safe (except of course for the large pieces).
Juliska "Pewter Stoneware"
Juliska's revolutionary new "Pewter Stoneware" looks and feels just like real pewter but it is made of the same restaurant grade stoneware as all Juliska ceramics. The groundbreaking metallic glaze gives it the appearance of pewter, but it is also microwave, oven (up to 500°F), dishwasher and freezer safe like other Juliska dishes.
Create beautifully unique table settings by layering Juliska's "Pewter Stoneware" with other Juliska ceramics such as Berry and Thread, Octavia, Petit Singes and Jardin du Mondes. You will be amazed at how the simple yet elegant design and old-world luster of this stoneware conjures up visions of grand European estates. Juliska's "Pewter Stoneware" is available in dinnerware, bakeware and serving accessories.
Juliska's Octavia dinnerware is classically handsome and features round and octagonal shapes with a contrasting hand painted edge in two colorations. Mix the Portobello-edged white with the white-edged Portobello for a lovely, understated look. Octavia also provides a gorgeous contrast to Juliska's new "Pewter Stoneware" as well as Petit Singe. Octavia also stands beautifully on its own! Like other Juliska dinnerware, Octavia is microwave, oven (up to 500°F), dishwasher and freezer safe. Octavia is available in dinnerware, bakeware and serving accessories.
Juliska "Petit Singe"
Monkeys have been depicted in European art as symbols of ingenuity for many ages, and Juliska's Petit Singe dinnerware provides a wonderful combination of sophistication and irrepressible fun. Petit Singe offers many unique place setting options with its round and octagonal shapes and palm leaf designs. Mix and match with Juliska's Octavia and new "Pewter Stoneware" for your own unique table setting. Like all Juliska ceramics, Petit Singe is made of durable, chip-resistant stoneware that is microwave, oven (up to 500°F), dishwasher and freezer safe and is available in dinnerware and serving accessories.

Juliska glassware is mouth-blown by artisans in the hills outside of Prague in the Czech Republic. The techniques used have been passed down through generations of skilled glassmakers. Each piece of Juliska glass is handmade by teams of three artisans who work in tandem in a seamless sequence of motions that is breathtaking to watch.
The designs of Juliska glassware are inspired by 14th - 18th century European designs, many of which can be seen in museums throughout the world. The unique composition of Juliska glass allows it to be blown especially thin, making the glass an unexpected pleasure to drink from, and to hold. Being handmade, no two pieces of Juliska are identical. Each piece of Juliska glass has its own character - small bubbles, slight color and size variations. Uniqueness is thus guaranteed. All Juliska glassware is lead-free.
After it has passed a series of rigorous checks, each piece of Juliska glass is individually signed. This hallmark is your guarantee of the Juliska's origin, authenticity and superior quality.
